A buddy of mine, who also happens to be a BMW Enthusiast, reached out to me because he found a really nice BMW Z3 Coupe that happened to be located nearly 10 minutes from my house in Georgia. I had the pleasure of seeing this beauty in person and taking a magnifying glass to all aspects of the vehicle. Let me tell you. This is as clean as they come. Sure, there are some degraded plastics like you would expect on a 21 year old car. But, the manual transmission mated to the 192 horsepower 2.8 RWD Engine is a winning combination. Tuck that all into this hot hatch from 2000 and you’ve got a real head turner.
Jet Auto Sales was very accommodating in letting me stop by their fine establishment and take my time to view the car, take several pictures and videos as well as allow me a quick test drive. Starting this beauty up and taking it down the long stretch of road outside this dealership was a pure breeze. Mechanically, this car was very sound. There was some slight “sweating” noticed on the top of the Power Steering Reservoir and that’s a tell-tale sign of a slow leak. Not a major concern but certainly something to address in the near future. My buddy lives in Indiana so this was a necessary task to be able to see the car in person this way.
