Pictured here is Kevin’s Spec Corvette. Now you read this and you may be thinking to yourself, “What the heck is spec?” When you see the word associated with a different car make, it usually indicates the racing class it is part of. A spec series car is basically a race series where all the drivers race the same model of a particular car, where all the cars are specified or spec’d to be identical. This particular corvette is fitted with headers and straight pipes without a muffler. In a word, it is LOUD. Just the way we like them. This car will be competing in 3 events this February: Willow Springs Car Control Clinic, Chuckwalla Track Day and the Spec Corvette Race at Big Willow.
