Everyone’s story is different when it comes to a particular hobby. But there is one thing that remains a constant and that is passion. The passion that drives you, literally. The deep interest. For many, it started with their first car. Or perhaps it was their Mom or Dad, who was an old school motorhead themselves. For me, I thought it was my first Honda. Long before I even learned how to drive a manual car, I fell upon the Internet where I found SuperStreet. This was essentially an online magazine with a bustling automotive community including images, videos, how to’s, forums and more. Once I began getting immersed in this exciting hobby, I started noticing other makes and models. I came across other enthusiasts performing upgrades with other cars I had not seen before. That’s where I started my journey into my passion…
Back then, it started with a Volkswagen. The “people’s car”. What’s more is that I got quickly involved in the community and the more I explored it, the more I found that this automotive brand was quite popular and was supported by a tight-knit community. Guys and girls would be quick to help a brother out with their car if it meant spending time on the very things we loved with the company of good people.
